Pete the Cat
Thomas has fallen in love with a new lovey. His name is Pete the Cat. Aunt Marilyn had sent him a book called Pete the Cat - I Love My White Shoes. He loves this book and when he saw Pete the Cat at Barnes and Noble he wouldn't let him go. Of course mommy couldn't bear taking it away from him either. So now he sleeps and plays with Pete. He even makes his polar bear and Pete kiss. Very cute!
The Aquarium
One of our Christmas gifts this year was a years pass to the aquarium. This is perfect considering Thomas loves fish! A couple weekends ago we got to go with grandpa Barney and Grammie Deb. Randy and I had been there when we were dating so it was nice to visit again, especially with our little boy.

Choo Choo
Since right before our trip to Arizona, Thomas has grown very fond of trains. He knows the trains by name, has 2 sets of tracks (one that was his dad's set and the other from Aunt Heidi) and about 20 trains. You can ask him to go find Rosie (below) and he knows exactly which one she is and this goes for all of the Thomas the Train trains. He loves Thomas the Train cartoons, pajamas, books, etc. We usually have a track set up on our living room either put together or torn apart. He likes to go to Barnes and Noble and the library to play with their tracks too. This is nice for mommy because she gets to read while he plays for a little bit. :-) I will post pictures of him and his tracks soon. Choo Choo
Buddies
For the most part these two get along. Sometimes Thomas gets a little rough pulling at her paw or pulling these pillows out from under her for no reason, but they love each other. The other day we were at Sam's Club and Thomas just started yelling "Precious, Precious". It was so cute!
32 weeks
This goes to show how behind we are on blogging. :-) This was my belly at 32 weeks, we are now at 36 1/2 weeks. Ha Ha We ask Thomas where baby brother is and he points to my belly.

AZ Christmas 2013
So I am finally getting to posting these pictures. :-) Unfortunately my hard drive crashed on my laptop so that delayed me and then just being pregnant with an active, sometimes sick toddler has kept me busy. So here are the pictures that we took while in Phoenix during Christmas. I realize that I was horrible at taking pictures. I really didn't get a lot of pictures of grandma Karen, aunts, uncles and friends that I would have liked. I also didn't get pictures of Christmas morning while over at nana's house opening gifts. Oh well, we will always have the wonderful memories. I didn't caption the photos so if you have any questions, let me know.

So I will always remember....
There are a couple texts that I sent out last summer (yes, a while ago) that I don't ever want to forget. So what better place to capture than our blog. Unfortunately I am not sure on the dates, but for sure summer/fall of 2013.
I don't think it is possible to love this little boy more than I do. I still pinch myself because he is such a dream. Today when we got back to the car after visit to museum, I took him out of stroller and he put his arms around my neck and hugged me, then played with my hair. We just stood their for a few minutes in the parking lot treasuring the moment. Precious!

Was holding Thomas in arms today putting him down for a nap. He was laying on my shoulder while I danced and sang a song 'moon, moon, moon' to him. When I finished the song, he looked up at me and clapped. It was so cute and funny!

Best way to kill time at doctors! Super baby! 15 month check up... 80th % for height and 70th % for weight. Said he is doing awesome with words. Normally only 2-3 by now. He is a genius!

Dancing with daddy
Whenever we put music on in the house Thomas comes right over to one of us and wants to be picked up so he can dance with us. He likes to be dipped and swirled, but most of all he likes to just lay on our shoulders and enjoy us swaying to the music. He is such a little lover!

Poor Precious
Thomas loves Precious and lays (I mean plays) :-) on/with her all the time. Sometimes he can get a little rough and now that he is heavier than her I have to separate them. Precious will just lay there and put up with being laid on and being hit by books. Such a good doggie she is!
Thanksgiving
I feel bad, but the only pictures I got of Thanksgiving was Thomas and a turkey leg. Ha Ha
We went over to Sonia's house for an amazing dinner prepared by Sonia, Ashley and I and then went over to Tio Joe's for dessert. We had such a wonderful day with our family and felt so blessed. I sat at the table and thought 'wow, next year we will have 2 precious little boys'. Lots to be thankful for!

Our little bookworm
Thomas absolutely LOVES his books. You will see him carrying at least one book all of the time. When we do have to take a book away (i.e. bath time, eating) it is a struggle. Any chance he gets, he will sit in our laps and have us read. He will also hand books to us to read to him. I am telling you, this child doesn't even play with his toys, just books. Thanks to his love for books he has learned to point to many objects, he will say what some of the things are in the book, he will make the sounds of the book and he has learned lots of new words. This little man is smart!
When he was about 1 years old we signed him up for a program at the library called 1000 books before kindergarten and he is already at 500. Makes it easy when that's all he wants to do. So on a typical day his books end up scattered ALL over the house. We think he is going to ask Santa for more books and then we will donate some of his older ones. :-)

| Thomas as a cowboy for Halloween. We didn't make it out trick or treating because he wasn't feeling well, but I had to at least dress him up the next day. Isn't our little cowboy a cutie? |

21 Weeks!
I can't believe that we are less than halfway there to another little blessing! In about 4 months we will have another sweet baby boy. Wow, time flies when you are chasing a toddler. :-) We are glad too because we are excited to meet this little man.
Thomas thinks my belly is funny. He pulls up my shirt and points to it (even if I am wearing a dress). Sometimes I will chase him around the house and he just runs around laughing. He also gives my belly a hug and kiss. Randy says "daddy won't even do that". Ha Ha

Chicken!
This has to be my favorite word so far!
P.S. We normally don't have the tv on, especially while he is eating, but it was the Redskins game. :-)
