Thomas built this track ALL BY HIMSELF! I think I was making dinner and I came out to the longest and most complex track that any of us have built. He learns quickly, trust me we have to be careful with what we do and say. Ha ha

Easter 2014
Spent Easter afternoon at Grandpa Barney and Grammie Deb's this year. Deb set up an Easter egg hunt for Thomas and he loved it! He would see the eggs and shout out their color before he picked it up and then look for another one. Apparently we need to buy orange eggs for next year though because he kept looking for an orange one (the one color Deb didn't have :-)). He sure had a blast!

Circus, Circus!
Randy and I had a date with Thomas last weekend at the circus. We wanted to spend some one on one time with our little man and hoped that he would enjoy the circus. Well, he definitely enjoyed it. I don't even think he blinked. Ha Ha

Aunt Cynthia
Had a wonderful visit with Aunt Cynthia. She was a HUGE help playing with the boys, cleaning and she is an awesome cook! We tried to hire her as a nanny, but no go. :-( She spent a lot of time with Thomas playing trains, turtles and books. They also spent time outside walking, playing with chalk, swinging on the swings and of course, picking flowers (a must when Thomas is outside). She even got to spend some time with our newest addition. It was so nice for the boys to be able to really bond with their aunt. I think she enjoyed it too. :-)

Blessed with help!
We couldn't be any more grateful for all of the help that we have gotten during this special time in our lives. Unfortunately I have not been able to pick Thomas up for the first six weeks after my surgery so we have needed a lot of help. Luckily Randy and I are incredibly blessed with an amazing family on both sides. My dad was here for three weeks (thank God he is retired!), my sister Jaclyn for the week of the birth (thank God for her spring break landing on the same week), my step mom Odie here for a week (also retired) and my best friend Eve for about four days (unfortunately no picture :-( Boo!). Grammie Deb and Bela Sonia also came over for a few days and Grandpa Barney has also stopped by a bunch.

Train Show
Last weekend we went to a train show with Grandpa Barney. Thomas had so much fun looking at all the trains, playing a drag race train game and riding a train in the front. The hat above was sent to him from Heidi and her boys and then Grandpa bought him another hat that says Thomas on it. He looks pretty darn cute in both of them, doesn't he?

Last visit to the museum
Last week we went on our last visit to the museum for a couple months. Our year's pass ran out and we are going to wait until we can take the new baby to get another year's pass. I loved being able to drive 20 minutes to take Thomas to see the animals and run around on the path outside. Even if it was a rainy day, we could just hang out around the indoor exhibits. If it was beautiful outside, which it was last week, I let Thomas run around the outdoor path picking up leaves, grabbing at spider webs on the fence and looking at the animals. Great way for him to get exercise and for me to be able to keep him contained. ha ha
